Staff Practice Accountant (Service Revenue)

OneOncology hires a Staff Practice Accountant to support month-end close and financial reporting within its operational accounting team. The role prepares journal entries and reconciliations, supports financial reviews, and helps ensure accurate results and compliance with US GAAP.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with monthly close activities, including consolidations and preparation of financial statements
• Support the Senior Accountant and Manager in variance analysis and financial reviews
• Maintain organized supporting documentation for all accounting transactions
• Assist in preparing schedules and analyses for internal stakeholders and external auditors
• Participate in implementing new accounting standards, policies, and procedures
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Build strong working relationships with peers, practice staff, and internal finance teams
• Support ad hoc projects and analyses as needed
• Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer

What they're looking for:

• 0-4+ years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, reconciliations)
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in professional development
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem solving
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Workday or other ERP platforms is a plus
• Active CPA license or working toward CPA license preferred
• Master's degree preferred
