Responsibilities

  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality before sterilization.
  • Maintain accurate inventory management of sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and integrity of sterile items.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand specific needs for surgical procedures.
  • Document sterilization processes and maintain records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician is mandatory.
