About this role
IBM is a technology and consulting company whose infrastructure business develops hybrid cloud, storage, and AI solutions. The Storage Product Management Intern will conduct market, customer, and competitive research, evaluate user requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help translate technical capabilities into product requirements and user stories.
What you'll do:
- Perform market research, customer research, and competitive analysis to identify new market opportunities
- Understand our customers and key industries
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams
- Identify and evaluate user requirements to uncover actionable product insights
- Help translate complex technical capabilities into clear product requirements and user stories
- Currently pursuing a relevant college degree
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with attention to detail
- Able to be decisive, even with incomplete information
- Known for consistent execution and completion of tasks
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with the judgment to seek input when appropriate
- Thrive in multidisciplinary environments, fostering productive collaboration
What they're looking for:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university program and returning to school following the internship
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in AI tools
- Currently pursuing a relevant college degree
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with attention to detail

- Known for consistent execution and completion of tasks
