Store Operations Corporate Facilities Intern

As a Store Operations Corporate Facilities Intern, you'll gain valuable experience supporting the day-to-day operations that ensure Lowe’s stores remain safe, functional, and customer-ready. Working alongside our Retail Facilities and Store Operations teams, you’ll assist in coordinating maintenance requests, tracking vendor activity, and analyzing store-level data to help improve facilities support across our 1,700+ locations. This role is ideal for someone interested in operations, facilities coordination, and gaining insight into how Lowe’s keeps its stores running efficiently behind the scenes. ## Summer Internship Program Our 10-week summer internship program runs from May 24th through July 30th, 2027, and immerses interns in real-world retail operations. Interns work directly with industry experts across stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to the business and communities. ## What You Will Learn - Develop dashboards and reports that support internal business teams, with a focus on creating clear, actionable insights for non-technical users. - Query and transform data from multiple sources, and gain experience building efficient ETL pipelines that prepare datasets for reporting and analysis. - Explore automation tools to streamline repetitive reporting or data preparation tasks, building small-scale solutions that reduce manual effort. - Understand the operational areas supported and practice translating technical findings into recommendations that business stakeholders can act on. - Gain introductory experience with advanced analytics techniques to see how they can add value beyond standard reporting. - Serve as a connector between business and IT, including facilitation of requests, proposals of alternatives, and navigating organizational processes. ## Minimum Qualifications - Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field. - Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028. ## Preferred Skills/Experience - 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. - Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau and data analytics. - Foundational knowledge of SQL and databases, and ability to write simple queries. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity to explore data. - Comfort working with data and learning internal platforms. - Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus. ## Benefits - Paid internship - Eligibility for Lowe’s Housing Benefit - 10% Associate Discount
