STUDENT ANALYST - STUDENT ASSISTANT-R&D - STUDENT ENGINEER - Software Developer

Southwest Research Institute is hiring a student software developer to develop applications that support customer mission needs. The role may also apply artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to engineering problems and involves communicating with project mentors and reporting progress.

What you'll do:

• Develop applications involving signal processing, data storage, data analysis and processing, graphical user interfaces, databases, and web applications that will ultimately become part of larger systems supporting customer mission needs
• Depending on the assignment, explore or apply artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to data analysis, pattern recognition, prediction, optimization, or other engineering problems
• Proactively communicate with project mentors, provide status updates, and critically think through challenges
