Position Summary/Job Duties:

Summary: Join our team as a Student Athlete Dining Attendant, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring UW – Madison student athletes have a quality dining experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, assisting with food service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Transport hot and cold boxes of food to ensure efficient service. 
• Monitor food quality and quantity, keeping the food line stocked, clean, and visually appealing. 
• Ensure that hot and cold food items are maintained at safe temperature levels. 
• Remove leftover food from the line at the end of a meal session and properly dispose of waste. 
• Clean the food line before, during, and after meal service to maintain a safe and organized environment. 
• Prepare for the next meal service, ensuring all necessary items are ready for the next session. 
• Restock paper goods, dry foods, and condiments when necessary. 
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
• Complete additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth service operations. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications: 

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to remain on your feet for most of the workday.
• Ability to lift and push up to 30 pounds.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with others.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
