Student Data Analyst

Associated Students UCLA is seeking a Student Data Analyst for its ASUCLA Marketing department. The role collects, organizes, and analyzes data to identify trends in advertisement performance and consumer practices, presents findings to management and clients, and supports marketing and operational decision-making. The analyst will also manage multiple projects and assist with administrative tasks.

What you'll do:

• Collect raw data across several platforms (including both digital and physical placements) and organize records in an intuitive, systematic manner
• Process and analyze data using R program or equivalent to identify trends and patterns in advertisement performance and consumer practices, as well as to make recommendations for future campaigns
• Be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, including keeping projects organized and easily accessible to management
• Present data in a clear, digestible format to management and clients using engaging and appealing visualizations
• Possess strong working proficiency with Canva, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Manage multiple projects at a time and ensure timely project updates or completion
• Have a positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
• Communicate effectively and professionally with management and clients
• Support manager and office staff with miscellaneous administrative tasks

• * Enrolled as a full-time UCLA student (UCLA Extension students are not eligible)
