Student Employee-Dept of Engineering Technology-AI/ML Development Assistant

Sam Houston State University is seeking a student employee to assist with supervised artificial intelligence and machine learning development projects. The role involves data preparation, scripting, model experimentation, testing, documentation, and other technical tasks based on project needs.

What you'll do:

• Work may include data preparation, basic scripting, model experimentation, testing, documentation, and other technical tasks assigned based on project needs

What they're looking for:

• 1.Current undergraduate student in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
• 2. Basic knowledge of Python programming
• 3.Basic mathematics background
• 4. Willingness to learn new AI/ML tools, frameworks, and development practices
• 5. Reliability and ability to follow technical instructions and project timelines
• 6. Partial experience with cloud deployment or AWS is optional
