About this role
Federal Work Study eligibility (strongly preferred).
This position begins as soon as agreed upon for the semester and ends on a determined basis. No more than 20 hours per week is allowed for all combined student positions. Please keep this in mind when applying for this position.
Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
Evening and weekend shifts are not available
Hourly Pay Rate: $12 per hour
10-12 hours per week
Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University required
This position is open to all applicants (regardless of Federal Work Study funding) but Federal Work Study eligibility is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Processing newly acquired titles for the library collection
- Handling incoming newspapers and journal issues
- Packing and unpacking library materials
- Preparing items for commercial binding
- Verifying access to electronic resources
- Assisting with various departmental projects
Qualifications
- Spanish language skills (preferred for at least one position)
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Attention to detail and reliability
