About this role

  • The primary responsibility involves processing and labeling both new and older books with call numbers, ensuring materials are properly prepared for shelving and circulation. 
  • Additional duties include searching the library stacks for specific items and reviewing new books for any signs of damage. 

Qualifications

All work will take place in Howard-Tilton Library, where attention to detail and care for materials is essential. 

This is a great opportunity for students interested in library science, conservation, or simply contributing to the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Tulane’s collections in excellent condition. 

Federal Work Study is required.
