Notetakers are assigned to classes not regular to their schedule to take notes for peers with required accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Must attend and take notes in lectures as allocated by Disability Services
- Ensure notes are clear and identify the key points and information relevant to the student.
- Upload notes on weekly basis and within 24 hours after the end of the class to ensure the student with accommodations can have timely access.
- Commit to provide notes for the whole semester and inform Disability Services in a timely fashion if unable to attend due to illness etc.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to take notes (handwritten or typed) in lectures as allocated by Disability Services. Must be in good academic standing. The notetaking course(s) assigned will not be course(s) that the notetaker is enrolled in.
Desired Qualifications
Owner of your own laptop for note-taking (preferred)
