About this role
The University of Virginia is seeking a Federal Work Study student intern to support its University Annual Giving & Stewardship Direct Marketing team during the 2025–2026 academic year. The role focuses on CRM data entry and updates, donor inquiry tracking, marketing calendar support, and premium campaign inventory management in a hybrid work environment.
What you'll do:
- Accurately enter vendor expenses from the Direct Marketing Invoice Tracking sheet into the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to support ROI tracking
- Create CRM mass updates to attribute appeal outreach (email, text, print) for the University of Virginia and affiliated schools and programs
- Record inbound donor inquiries from the University Annual Giving inbox, recording them in a centralized spreadsheet, accurately tracking giving, ID, and routing of requests
- Upload marketing proofs to the Advancement Community Marketing calendar
- Maintain inventory of all items from premium campaigns (socks, keychains, etc.)
- Other duties assisting the Direct Marketing team may be assigned, as needed
