Provide research support for Professor Hudson on her project Latinx Girlhood: Archival Exclusions and Canon Formation.
Responsibilities
- Review, scan, organize, and maintain archival research documents and materials.
- Transcribe materials related to research.
- Create bibliographies for each book chapter of Professor Hudsons book.
- Provide administrative support related to research activities and project management.
- Organize research files, records, and materials for the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Attend regular meetings with the PI to discuss project progress and assigned tasks.
- Support additional research-related duties as assigned.
- Write a summary paper of the work completed under Professor Hudson.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read Spanish material for the purpose of transcribing.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience assisting with academic, arts, social science, or humanities research.
- Experience working with archival materials, document management, or data organization.
- Interest in arts, humanities, social sciences or related fields.
- Strong editing, proofreading, and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned projects.
