Reports To:

  • Head Men’s Basketball Coach - Gabe Johnson

 

Position Summary:

The Team Manager provides daily operational support to the coaching staff and student-athletes. This position requires reliability, organization, professionalism, discretion, and a willingness to serve in all aspects of the program.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare the court, basketballs, clocks, water, and equipment before every practice and game.
  • Set up and clean the locker room and bench area.
  • Assist with practice drills, rebounding, timing drills, and keeping statistics as directed.
  • Operate practice/game video equipment when assigned.
  • Assist with uniform, towel, and laundry management.
  • Maintain equipment inventory and report damaged or missing items.
  • Help load and unload team travel equipment.
  • Support recruiting visits and special events as requested.
  • Complete other duties assigned by the coaching staff.

 

Expectations

  • Arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled team activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and represent the program professionally.
  • Communicate promptly with coaches regarding schedule conflicts.
  • Display a positive attitude and team-first mentality.

Time Commitment

  • In Season: 15–25 hours per week
  • Off-Season: As assigned for workouts, camps, and special events

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of basketball is preferred but not required.
  • Must be dependable and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel when needed.
