Description
Position Summary:
- The Student Social Media Assistant will support the Music Department by creating, scheduling, and managing content for departmental social media channels.
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule posts across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)
- Capture and edit photos and short videos for digital use.
- Monitor accounts for comments and messages, responding or referring as appropriate.
- Collaborate with faculty to highlight departmental activities and stories.
- Work with the department chair to create a bi-weekly Alumni Spotlight
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled Point student with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
