Summer 2027 AIM Hedging Analyst Internship | Fully Onsite

Allianz Life is an insurance and asset management company focused on helping customers secure their financial futures. The Hedging Intern Analyst will support hedge trading activities by assessing and mitigating market risks, developing analytics and tools, back-testing strategies, and contributing to hedge analysis projects while using artificial intelligence resources.

What you'll do:

• Work alongside a dynamic hedge trading desk while building your technical skills, programming ability, and knowledge of financial math
• Develop tools and analytics, back-test strategies, and contribute to hedge analysis projects that deliver tangible value to the team
• Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)

What they're looking for:

• Progress toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, actuarial science, engineering, or a related field
• Strong technical skills in calculus, statistics, probability, software development
• The right candidate will possess an outstanding record of academic achievement and an interest in the financial markets
• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas
