Summer 2027 Intern - Electrical Engineering

C&S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm delivering infrastructure design, planning, and construction services. The Electrical Engineering Intern will perform routine engineering tasks under close supervision, collect and prepare data, assist with project coordination and plan preparation, and support staff members during a 10–12-week summer internship.

What you'll do:

• Perform, under close supervision, routine aspects of electrical engineering, requiring knowledge and application of principles learned in course of study
• May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform tasks
• Collect and prepare data for evaluation
• Assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations
• Provide support to staff members as needed

• Currently a matriculated undergraduate OR matriculated graduate student
• Pursuing a relevant course of study (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, etc.)
• A go getter looking for a hands-on opportunity in Electrical Engineering
• Available for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027
• Must have completed sophomore year of Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or related program
• Strong desire to pursue a career in Electrical Engineering
• Solid analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills
• Resourceful and self-motivated
• Solid organizational skills with a focus on details
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
