  • Assist with electrical load calculations, power distribution studies, and analysis of onsite power generation systems, including backup power and microgrid architectures
  • Contribute to electrical system documentation, including schematics, specifications, wiring diagrams, and design packages
  • Participate in component selection, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation testing
  • Support development and execution of qualification and acceptance testing for electrical and control systems
  • Work cross-functionally with engineers across multiple disciplines to ensure systems are safe, reliable, manufacturable, and maintainable
  • Learn engineering design processes while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers and contributing to meaningful, high-impact projects

What they're looking for:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline

  • Coursework or project experience involving electrical power systems, instrumentation and controls, circuit design, embedded systems, control systems, or power electronics
  • Ability to solve technical problems using first-principles thinking and sound engineering fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and contribute in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary
  • Hands-on experience through internships, research, Formula SAE, robotics, engineering clubs, or personal projects
  • Experience designing, building, testing, or troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Familiarity with electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Altium, KiCad, or similar)
  • Experience with PLCs, industrial controls, sensors, data acquisition systems, or instrumentation
  • Exposure to power distribution, electrical protection systems, or industrial electrical equipment

Benefits:

  • Interns will receive a monthly housing stipend.
  • Interns are eligible for overtime pay.
