Summer 2027 Internship - Revenue Management (Strategic Pricing Analyst)

Federal Express Corporation is offering a summer internship that provides students with real-world experience in a professional environment. The Strategic Pricing Analyst Intern will support revenue management initiatives through financial and pricing analysis, market research, business intelligence, metrics analysis, and the development of solutions that improve business efficiency and customer experience.

What you'll do:

• Under close supervision, the successful candidate may assist with providing analytical support to drive efficiency, consistency and control throughout current business initiatives. The intern may assist with industry market research, global business intelligence, and emerging trends analysis
• The intern will analyze specific business metrics and research/analyze data, industry trends, and market information to gain insight into transportation and logistics metrics in identified industry vertical
• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience
• Participates in various networking and/or community service events
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assists in producing analytical views in support of business decisions from quantitative metrics
• Provides updates up to mid-management (typically within the department)
• Works in tandem with peers from other groups

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Degree: Master's degree program such as Business, Finance/Economics, Computer Science, Management, Project Management, Information Systems, Operations Management, Operations Research, Supply Chain/Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Technology, Math, Marketing or other related major
• Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as a part of a team
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills
• Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management
• Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations
• Financial analysis/Pricing analysis skills (Ability to develop and understand Profit & Loss statements)
• Experience analyzing and evaluating financial data, ability to analyze large datasets to make decisions
• Strong human relations, communication, and analytical skills required
