Summer 2027 Real Estate Investments Intern (New York, NY)

Affinius Capital is a global investment firm managing over $61 billion in assets, focusing on technology-driven real estate solutions. They are seeking Interns to join their New York investment team for the Summer of 2027, where the role involves evaluating investments, performing due diligence, and assisting in transaction processes.

What you'll do:

• Evaluating and underwriting prospective investment opportunities
• Executing and closing transactions involving various property types
• Performing due diligence, including completing market analysis and coordinating with third party service providers
• Generating financial analysis and investment committee memoranda detailing investment rationale, execution risks, and prospective returns
• Assisting in the implementation of business plans, including leasing, financing, disposition, and ongoing portfolio surveillance
• Additional duties, as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university majoring in Finance, Economics, Business, Architecture, Real Estate or related major with an estimated graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028
• Demonstrated interest in real estate through previous internships, extracurriculars or coursework
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Team player who can work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Available for full-time onsite work in New York office for 10 consecutive weeks in summer, beginning in early June 2027
• Excellent academic background with a cumulative of 3.5 above, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and financial modeling is preferred but not required
