Summer 2027 - Recreation College Intern - Sedona, AZ

Hyatt Vacation Ownership offers an on-site internship program at its resort locations. The Recreation/Activities College Intern will promote and support guest activities, assist with special events, and learn to plan and organize daily and special resort programming while creating memorable guest experiences.

What you'll do:

• Promote fun resort activities and facilities to guests of all ages
• Lead and support activities like trivia, pool games, outdoor fun, and educational programs
• Help with setup and execution of special events such as food tastings and local storytelling
• Understand the importance of interacting directly with guests to create fun and memorable experiences
• Learn how to plan and organize daily and special activities
• Observe and support areas like health and fitness, childcare, and team leadership

What they're looking for:

• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This is a fully on-site internship at one of the designated Hyatt Vacation Ownership resort locations
• Candidates must be actively pursuing a college degree at any level
• A valid driver's license may be required, depending on scope of role
• Housing accommodations and relocation are the students' responsibility
• Interns must be able to reach overhead and below knee level, and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Interns must also be capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods
• The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance is required
• While students majoring in Hospitality or Business Management are preferred, applicants from other academic disciplines are also encouraged to apply
