About this role
Force Factor is a health and wellness company developing scientifically formulated vitamins, supplements, and better-for-you foods. The Product Commercialization Intern will support product development through market and competitor research, stakeholder coordination, product sampling, documentation control, regulatory support, and data-focused innovation projects.
What you'll do:
- **New Product Development:** Engage in in-depth research and innovative thinking to identify market trends and help create new products that address consumer needs and preferences
- **Market Research:** Analyze the competitive landscape using various data sources to conduct thorough competitive analyses and inform strategic product development
- **Documentation Control:** Collect, organize, and review documentation related to product development and compliance
- **Product Sampling and Feedback:** Assist with in-office sampling of new products, collect and analyze feedback, and communicate findings to external partners to refine and enhance product offerings
- **Manage Stakeholder Collaboration:** Partner closely with manufacturing partners, ingredient suppliers, and internal Supply Chain, Creative, and Marketing teams to facilitate smooth project execution and accelerate the launch of new products to the market
- **Substantiation**: Source, read, and interpret clinical research, and share thoughts around research strengths and results. Work with supplier partners to obtain scientific dossiers, ensuring files are organized and up to date. Assist with brainstorming compliant product claims
- **International Expansion & Regulatory Support**: Assist with building product registration dossiers for various international partners, conduct research into product, competitor, and consumer trends for key international markets and retailers
- **AI Utilization:** Leverage Claude to support team and individual priorities, including building new tools and workflows, implementing automations, and synthesizing and visualizing data
What they're looking for:
- Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, Masters, or MBA program at an accredited institution. This opportunity is open to all students, from first-year students to seniors, MS students, or MBA students
- Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e., work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.)
- Ability to conduct thorough market research, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and identify trends
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, shift priorities, and maintain clear organization of responsibilities
- A performance-focused, results-oriented approach - you will need a strong work ethic and drive to achieve results
- Ownership mentality, self-motivation, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline driven environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks
- Detail-oriented, driven, and organized high performer with an insatiable desire to win
- Experience reading and interpreting scientific research and clinical studies is recommended, but not required
