About this role
Analysis Group is an international economics consulting firm that provides solutions to challenging business and litigation problems. The Summer Analyst Intern will support multiple projects across practice areas through quantitative analysis, qualitative research, report preparation, and collaboration with colleagues and clients.
What you'll do:
- Quantitative analyses: you will help develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python
- Qualitative research: you will conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis
- Preparation of reports: you will assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda, and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings
- Team collaboration: you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and have an opportunity to interact directly with clients
What they're looking for:
- We seek candidates who are **pursuing a bachelor's and/or master's degree focus** **in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects graduating in winter 2027 or summer 2028.**
- **Strong quantitative and research skills**, including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; familiarity with AI tools; the ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges; and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn
- **Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills**, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely
- **Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset**, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
- **A strong academic track record**, with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Applicants must have at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree to be considered
- Candidates who will require future visa sponsorship must have valid U.S. work authorization for the duration of their internship and must also be pursuing a STEM-eligible degree
- Candidates who expect to rely on F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT) now or in the future must also have 36 months of OPT available at the start of the internship, regardless of whether they plan to use OPT or not
