Summer/Co-op Engineer

MPR Associates, Inc. is a multi-discipline specialty engineering services and consulting firm serving electric power, federal services, and health and life sciences clients. The company seeks junior or senior engineering students for paid co-op opportunities involving technical analysis, product development, asset management, capital project planning, process control systems, communications, and advanced nuclear technology projects.

What you'll do:

• Thermal hydraulic, structural, and electrical analysis, in support of the industries that we serve
• Product Development (including mechanical and electrical design, software development, printed circuit board design, systems engineering and testing)
• Asset Management and Business Operations Improvement including data analytics, automation, machine learning, quality assurance, and process development))
• Capital Project Management and Planning including support of project siting permitting and development, project planning, owner’s engineering, oversight of execution, and risk management
• Process Control Systems and Communications including, system architecture, design, software development, testing, and risk assessment)
• Advanced nuclear technology design, analysis and deployment
• The ideal candidate can work collaboratively on engineering teams as well as independently to produce high-quality technical deliverables
• Students will work on project teams with junior and senior engineers giving them the opportunity to learn from and work with recognized industry-wide experts
