Summer Intern 2028 - Audit/Tax/Accounting and Outsourced

Maner Costerisan is an accounting and business consulting firm serving clients through audit, tax, accounting, and outsourced services. The Summer Intern will work as an entry-level staff member in supervised client situations, performing applicable service procedures and contributing to tax, audit, and accounting projects.

What you'll do:

• As an intern, you will be treated the same as an entry level staff member
• You will be an integral part of the team
• Interns will work in supervised client situations and be responsible for the applicable audit, tax or accounting services procedures
• Interns are expected to communicate effectively both orally and in written form, work with others cooperatively and with respect and accept responsibility for their work and their actions
• Prepare individual and business tax returns for detail review
• Review and understand prior year tax returns and work papers
• Understand and familiarize yourself with federal tax regulations
• Work with audit team to complete audit engagements for a variety of clients
• Perform Audit procedures including planning, testing and reporting
• Review prior year work papers and financial statements
• Work with the Accounting and Outsourced team on a variety of client accounting projects
• Understand basic accounting principles

What they're looking for:

• Currently working towards Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge and experience using Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
