American Modern Insurance Group is a leader in the specialty insurance market, known for its strong relationships with agent partners. They are seeking a Summer Portfolio Management Intern to assist with various projects related to catastrophe models, data quality assurance, and tool development.

What you'll do:

• Use catastrophe models to create output for reporting, pricing, predictive analytics, and planning
• Develop tools and models
• Participate in quarterly exposure data and assist in the quality assurance of data

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or graduate's degree
• Graduation date between December 2024 and May 2026
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks
• Strong interest in the insurance industry
• Ability to work independently and in group settings
• Authorized to work in the United States of America
• Candidates must be local (Cincinnati, OH) and will work in the office at least 2 days a week
• Math or Science are preferred
