JOB SUMMARY
A non-licensed employee who performs routine tasks under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, certified occupational therapist assistant, and/or physical therapist assistant related to the operation and maintenance of the department and equipment. Assists professional staff in routine patient care under their direct supervision. Demonstrates competence to adapt work and customer service assistance methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychological, cultural, safety, and other departmental needs of patients served by the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                      
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience (Years and Area): No experience required; Hospital experience preferred
Equipment Operated: Competency in rehabilitation equipment
