Supervisor Activities (Skilled Nursing Facility)

The Supervisor Activities is responsible for assessing the activity level of each swing and skilled nursing facility patient and providing each with an individualized leisure and diversional activity program which is congruent with the resident's lifespan experiences and preferences. Promotes physical, mental, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being to the best of the resident's capability through the administration and direction of individualized activities.

Education:

• High School or GED required.

Experience:

• 1 year of experience in long-term facility or work with long-term patients, required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience, required.

Licensure/Certification:

• Active Activity Director Course Certification with Division of Facility Services, required.
• Valid Drivers License, required.

Additional Skills/Requirements (required):

• May be required to work unusual or additional shift hours
• Works under stressful conditions and in difficult situations
• Resilient and flexible in a continually changing work environment
