Supervisor Laboratory at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Focus is on development, oversight and daily operations. Supervises personnel and coordinates activities of Inpatient, Outpatient and Pavilion Patient Service Center Phlebotomy Services. Performs all duties in a manner, which promotes team concept and reflects the mission of philosophy of the Providence Health System. Serves as a role model for department staff, exhibiting the Core Values in all activities. May be assigned to special projects per Manager consistent with strategic, fiscal, and operational goals/targets.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy program or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License or
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Chemist Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Hematology Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License or
- Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License
- 3 years experience in specimen processing and/or phlebotomy with 3 of the 5 years as a lead or supervisor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hospital registration and billing, word processing and spreadsheets
- 1 year hospital laboratory experience
