Supply Chain Analyst Intern- Greenfield, IN

Echo Global Logistics is a transportation and logistics company offering an internship focused on real-world supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Analyst Intern will analyze supply chain data, support logistics and inventory planning, help ensure food quality and safety standards, and identify process improvements.

What you'll do:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and inefficiencies
• Generate reports on logistics performance, food quality metrics, and inventory levels
• Support the planning and execution of efficient logistics strategies, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Work with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
• Help evaluate and improve transportation routes and delivery schedules to reduce costs and improve service levels
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance related to food safety and quality
• Assist in tracking and forecasting inventory levels to minimize waste and avoid stockouts
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory records and timely replenishment
• Identify areas for process improvement within supply chain operations and recommend solutions

• * Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, Excel, and/or supply chain management software
• * Food quality and safety knowledge is essential, with understanding of HACCP, GMP, or other food safety regulations
• * Basic understanding of process engineering principles and methodologies
• * Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• * Detail-oriented with a strong ability to problem-solve
• * Able to work in our Greenfield facility 5 days a week and travel to the Echo Chicago headquarters as needed
