Supply Chain Data Analyst

LayerZero Power Systems is a leader in power management products for mission- and process-critical business applications. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will support strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier performance, inventory management, cost analysis, and supply chain optimization through data-driven analysis. The role offers mentorship, executive exposure, and development toward future supply chain leadership.

What you'll do:

• Analyze spend, procurement, supplier, inventory, and operational data to identify business opportunities and risks
• Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level analysis
• Monitor and communicate key supply chain performance metrics
• Support forecasting, inventory optimization, and planning initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations to management and leadership teams
• Support commodity buyers and sourcing professionals with supplier and market analysis
• Conduct spend analysis and identify cost reduction opportunities
• Analyze supplier performance, quality trends, delivery performance, and business risk
• Research commodity markets and industry trends
• Support supplier negotiations through data analysis and business case development
• Participate in cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence and cost reduction
• Develop financial models and business cases supporting strategic initiatives

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or another highly analytical discipline
• 0-3 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, finance, operations, analytics, or related fields
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into actionable business insights
• Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, operations, finance, or analytics
• Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytical tools
• Exposure to financial analysis, cost modeling, forecasting, or sourcing activities
• Interest in pursuing APICS, ASCM, CPSM, CPM, or related certifications
• Strong academic performance in Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines
