The Manager Supply Chain - Laboratory is responsible for implementing and maintaining an inventory management program for the Laboratory departments at a system level. Establishes and maintains accurate PAR levels in MMIS.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDistributes information regarding the availability of supplies and other pertinent information to all laboratory staff.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EResponds to inquiries and provides assistance to other departments, hospital staff and external representatives in the implementation and performance of job function.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssures compliance with accreditation standards with regards to storage of supplies.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsures that the laboratory staff and clients are aware of procedures that provide for efficient ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of all laboratory supplies.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsures adequate stocks of inventory while allowing for no wastage of inventory, reagent or product due to shelf storage expiration.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EConducts staff performance appraisals, mentors, counsels and disciplines as is appropriate.
