About this role
As a Supply Chain Engineer based in Cartago, Costa Rica, you will take ownership of high-stakes projects from day one. You will be a key part of our operations team and grow your skills while applying industry best practices to our supply chain function.
Your contributions will help maintain our market position as the world leader in smart lighting and shading systems.
You will work with teams from multiple Lutron facilities including the US, Costa Rica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and China to collectively drive improvements to Lutron’s operational and manufacturing systems.
By working in a collaborative environment, you will be exposed to and trained by industry experts who will aid in your professional development.
Responsibilities
- Setting up new product introductions for Manufacturing and Supply Chain success
- Facilitating changes to existing products across Lutron’s global Manufacturing network
- Lead projects to transfer products between facilities or increase production capacity
- Assist with Financial analysis of new and existing products
- Create documentation for new raw material and manufacturing processes
- Support Corporate Operations analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, or a related Engineering degree
- 0-4 years of experience in a relevant role
- Strong computer skills, experience using SAP preferred
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Must be located within commutable distance of Cartago to accommodate onsite schedule
