Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a compassionate, caring Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing practice in Winston-Salem, NC.

The APP will be working with one full-time GI oncology surgeon who will also serve as the supervising physician. Responsibilities will vary depending on surgical and clinic caseloads of the physician but are approximately 50% surgical assist and 50 % inpatient rounding, support in peri-operative period, prepping admissions & discharges, nursing triage, assisting in clinic, chart review and surgical preparatory work. Our providers are fully supported with a dedicated, onsite team of experienced nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff as well as a full-service infusion center. What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate Degree, required. Masters, required.
- Experience: Prior surgical experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current NP or PA license in North Carolina, State BON/Med Board, current DEA registration, BLS; required. RNFA required for NP candidates.
- Additional Skills Required:
- Ability to complete generic or department specific competencies.
- Ability to work with management teams and physicians.
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
