About this role
Zions Bancorporation is a financial services company operating through local banks and Zions Capital Markets, a national platform providing capital markets solutions. The Syndicated & Leveraged Finance Analyst will support senior team members in originating, structuring, pricing, marketing, and executing syndicated credit facilities while developing expertise in credit markets and transaction execution.
What you'll do:
- Maintaining and updating market comparables for syndicated loan transactions
- Performing financial and credit analysis, including cash flow modeling, credit metrics, covenant analysis and capital structure review
- Preparing transaction and marketing materials such as pitch books, lender presentations and term sheets
- Coordinating with internal and external partners, including relationship managers, legal and operations team, to support transaction execution, closing and post-closing administration
- Supporting the distribution process, including lender outreach, tracking investor feedback and monitoring syndication progress

- * Completed BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, and/or related majors, with a scheduled graduation prior to the annual June 7th start date
- * Overall GPA of 3.5 or above
- * Strong interest in finance and capital markets
- * High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
- * Proven analytical ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- * Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
- * Superior written and oral communication skills
- * Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- * Comfortable working with peers at all levels, ranging from fellow analysts through Managing Directors
- * Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
