About this role

Job Summary - Why you’ll love this position

Job Location:  This position will be located at 1738 E Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101

Why you’ll love this position:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud Administrator and environment specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle Cloud environments. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) ecosystems. Your primary focus will be environment provisioning (refreshes), application deployments, user access management (including secure FTP setups), and automation of batch processing and job scheduling. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between infrastructure management and application support, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless deployment pipelines.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate.  If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck.  A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Oracle Fusion Cloud environmental refreshes (e.g., Production to Test/Development).
  • Perform post-refresh configuration steps, including resetting integration endpoints.
  • Manage code, configuration, and package deployments to Oracle Cloud (OCI) across non-production environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures.
  • Configure and manage secure file transfer protocols, including creating and maintaining FTP/SFTP accounts within Oracle Cloud and other tools.
  • Manage directory structures, access permissions, and SSH keys for secure third-party integrations.
  • Ensure all access controls align with corporate security policies and audit requirements.
  • Design, schedule, and monitor jobs and batch processes within Oracle Cloud (using Oracle Enterprise Scheduler (ESS), OCI Process Automation, or external schedulers).
  • Optimize job sequencing to prevent performance bottlenecks.
  • Set up alerting and monitoring for scheduled job failures and lead root-cause analysis.

Qualifications - All you need for success

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, or SCM) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Understanding of Oracle's Quarterly Update cycles and P2T (Production-to-Test) refresh processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Scheduler (ESS) or external enterprise schedulers (MoveIt).
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to perform root-cause analysis under tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail regarding environment configurations and security.

Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Successful background check results are required for employment in this position.  This may include background checks involving a candidate's name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.

Authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite of employment.  The Office of Administration will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
