Systems Security Engineer I – Anti-Tamper / Program Protection (On-site)

RTX is an aerospace and defense company seeking an entry-level Systems Security Engineer I to support embedded security solutions that protect warfighter technology. The role focuses on implementing Systems Security Engineering solutions, conducting attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information assessments, and ensuring compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.

What you'll do:

• Support the implementation of Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions in Raytheon products to define requirements, solutions, trades, costs, and implementation strategies
• Conduct attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date
• Experience / coursework with one or more of the following: System Security Engineering, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems Security, Embedded Hardware, Embedded Software, Real-time Embedded Systems
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
• Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• Applied engineering experience or coursework with exposure in one or more of the following domains: systems engineering, software or firmware development, systems integration and/or test, ASIC development, digital electronics design, model-based systems engineering, or similar work history
• Experience supporting DoD programs or a working knowledge of DoD directives such as DODI-S-5230.28
• Expertise in attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments
• Active/Current DoD security clearance
• Exceptional creativity, problem-solving abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Prior internship, co-op, or work experience
