This entry-level Systems Security Engineer II role supports embedded security solutions for weapons systems by contributing to requirements, solution strategies, attack threat modeling, Critical Program Information assessments, and compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
What you'll do:
- Support the implementation of Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions in Raytheon products to define requirements, solutions, trades, costs, and implementation strategies
- Conduct attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments
- Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies
What they're looking for:
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- * Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date
- * Experience / coursework with one or more of the following: System Security Engineering, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems Security, Embedded Hardware, Embedded Software, Real-time Embedded Systems
- Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework or projects
- * Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
- * Applied engineering experience or coursework with exposure in one or more of the following domains: systems engineering, software or firmware development, systems integration and/or test, ASIC development, digital electronics design, model-based systems engineering, or similar work history
- * Experience supporting DoD programs or a working knowledge of DoD directives such as DODI-S-5230.28
- * Expertise in attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments
- * Active/Current DoD security clearance
- * Exceptional creativity, problem-solving abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills
- * Prior internship, co-op, or work experience
