    • Day shift - 7:30-4:00, Monday through Friday
    • No weekends no holidays (PTO pending)

    • Charge Position in Parking Department at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
      Making sure staff is on task- go to person when supervisor is not present.
      Job duties include: Metro pass closings, taking payments for parking and Metro passes.
      Handle emails and department phone calls.
      Ability to handled disgruntled employees and waitlist for parking spots.
      Counting money from parking stations - Mon - Fri - task.

Overview

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. The security division of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Department of Public Safety concentrates on the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within the hospital and on campus. The department provides field officers, Bike and mobile patrol, investigators, and a communication unit for monitoring alarm systems and dispatching officers to service and emergency calls. All officers are required to complete annual training that focuses on health care security.


Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Participates in the planning, installation, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance of access control, alarm monitoring, and emergency communication security systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Documents process flows, tracks work requests and completes enhancements for vendor-delivered products and systems.
  • Analyzes, develops and creates work plans that allow for successful integration and interfacing of various software and hardware systems.
  • Ensures service tickets logged by end users are resolved according to service-level agreement quality standards.
  • Implements vendor upgrades. Uses vendor-delivered report writers to create ad-hoc reports.
