TA Recruiter - Talent Acquisition - Northshore Region

Ochsner Health is a healthcare organization committed to serving and innovating since 1942. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter responsible for executing recruitment strategies and full life cycle recruiting activities in the Northshore region. The role involves partnering with hiring managers and HR business partners, attending job fairs, and ensuring compliance with recruitment policies.

What you'll do:

• Collaborates with Hiring Mangers and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs and position profile requirements
• Develops and implements recruitment strategies to support business strategies
• Executes full life cycle recruiting activities for all positions in assigned area
• Identify and attend local career fairs and community and college events to attract applicants
• Attend area meetings and events as required
• Provides HR compliance by enforcing recruitment policies, programs and implementation approaches
• Maintain positive business relationships with area leaders as well as HR Departments
• Supports and participates in corporate HR internal projects
• Other related duties as required

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree; High School diploma plus an additional 4 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
• 1 year of experience in full life cycle recruitment, human resources, sales/marketing or leadership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information
• Proficiency in human capital management technologies, especially in applicant tracking tools such as Workday
• General organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service focus, strong interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to deal effectively with dissatisfied customers
• Judgment skills to identify when customer issues need to be escalated
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and scripts with minimal variation when applicable
• Ability to travel by vehicle regionally
• Ability and skills to be proactive and think strategically
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
