Responsibilities
Position Overview
Join our 10-week program in the Bob Evans Farms Human Resources team as a Talent Acquisition Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting, employer branding, and talent attraction strategies. This internship provides exposure to recruiting processes, candidate engagement, workforce planning, and recruitment marketing while supporting meaningful business initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Intern will partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR professionals to help attract and hire top talent across the organization. In addition to Talent Acquisition-focused projects, the intern will participate in professional development opportunities, networking events, and a cross-functional intern project.
This intern will be responsible for positively impacting Bob Evan’s business and consumers by completing challenging and meaningful projects, both in the HR department as well as an overall intern project. Accountabilities
Assist with recruiting activities for corporate and field-based positions.
Coordinate candidate interviews, including scheduling and communication with candidates and hiring teams.
Support sourcing efforts through job boards, LinkedIn, university partnerships, career fairs, and talent databases.
Conduct market research and develop partnership strategies to support talent pipeline development for manufacturing roles.
Help enhance employer branding efforts through social media, recruitment marketing, and university outreach.
Analyze and interpret recruiting data to identify areas for process improvements that support business goals.
Assist with onboarding activities and new hire experience initiatives.
Support special Talent Acquisition projects designed to improve hiring manager and candidate experience.
During the internship, you will:
Gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle and talent strategy.
Build an understanding of how Talent Acquisition contributes to workforce planning, organizational growth, and overall business strategy.
Learn recruiting best practices, employment law fundamentals, and selection processes.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Employee Engagement teams.
Participate in site visits to better understand Bob Evans Farms operations.
Complete a meaningful intern project that delivers business value and is presented to leadership.
Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Skills
Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners.
Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.
Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.
Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality.
