About this role

The Operations Analyst Program provides rotational exposure to business operations before transitioning participants into a Tax Analyst role, where they will optimize after-tax profits from trading activities, collaborate across departments, and support accurate tax documentation and reporting.
What you'll do:
- In the first six months, you’ll rotate through Susquehanna’s operations team, gaining hands-on experience across trading desks and key business areas
- These rotations are designed to deepen your understanding of the firm’s structure and operations, especially as they relate to tax
- You’ll take on daily responsibilities and project work that build familiarity with information flow and tax processes
- Classroom training will complement your experience, focusing on company knowledge, technical skills, and business effectiveness
- After completing the program, you’ll join the tax team
- In this role, you’ll work on projects that help optimize after-tax profits from trading activities
- You’ll collaborate with departments like trading, operations, and technology, and work with both internal and third-party systems to ensure accurate documentation and reporting
- These projects will also give you insight into current tax regulations and their impact on the business

- Students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting or a related major looking to start a full-time job upon graduation

- Students who demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Python, HTML, VBA or SQL
- Prior co-op/internship/work experience in a tax paraprofessional or related role
