Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager
Location: Newport Beach, CA 
Hybrid
Salary: $138,000 – $172,500 annually 

Job Summary
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to lead corporate tax compliance, ASC 740 tax provision engagements, and client consulting for large multi-state and multinational companies. This role will manage client engagements, review corporate tax returns, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Review corporate income tax returns (Form 1120) and ASC 740 tax provisions.
• Research federal, state, and international tax issues.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor and supervise tax professionals.
• Identify opportunities to expand client services.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Active California CPA or JD with an active law license.
• 4+ years of corporate tax compliance and consulting experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Manager-level experience.
• Strong experience with ASC 740 (preparation, review, and audit support).
• Experience reviewing corporate tax returns (Form 1120).
• Recent public accounting experience with a Top 15 or large regional accounting firm.
• Experience supporting large multi-state, national, or multinational corporate clients.
• Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision.
• Knowledge of SALT, international taxation, and transfer pricing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
