Tax Technology Intern

## Job Description The Tax Technology Intern will be an integral member of the CEI Tax Department, collaborating with tax and technology teams to enhance tax processes through technology. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced tax professionals in a leading corporate tax department. ## Responsibilities: - Assist with implementing, enhancing, and maintaining technology solutions that support tax processes - Build data automations and visualizations using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools - Support the evaluation and integration of artificial intelligence technologies into tax workflows - Collaborate with tax team members to gather and document business requirements for technology projects - Prepare process documentation and user guides for tax technology tools - Identify opportunities to improve federal tax compliance processes through technology-driven solutions - Collect, analyze, and report data in support of tax initiatives - Support and maintain SharePoint sites and document libraries - Collaborate with team members on ad hoc tax technology projects ## Preferred Skills: - Working knowledge of accounting and tax concepts - Familiarity with computer science, data science and analytics, or information systems - Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative, hybrid work environment - Eagerness to learn and contribute to the department’s technology initiatives ## Requirements: - Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, computer science, data science and analytics, information systems, or a related field - GPA of 3.2 or higher - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Demonstrated interest in technology and process improvement
