This position does not have access to critical infrastructure in accordance with the Governor's executive order GA-48.

Job Duties:

 

This position reports to the Huntsville, TX area daily. Unit TBD. 

 

Duties include:

  • Conduct criminal and administrative investigations involving TDCJ
  • Makes arrests
  • Obtain and execute search/arrest warrants
  • Testify before a grand jury and criminal court
  • Collect and properly handle evidence
  • Serve as a liaison and assist outside law enforcement agencies
  • Performs other duties necessary as needed but not listed

 

 

You'd be a GOOD fit if you have:

  • Active Texas Peace Officer License
  • Pass a physical agility test

 

You'd be a GREAT fit if you have:

  • Experience in investigating major crimes
  • Interview/Interrogation Skills
  • Experience with writing and executing warrants
