Job Duties:

In this role, you will conduct advanced counseling, psychotherapy, and counseling evaluation for inmates participating in specialized treatment programs, including sex offender rehabilitation. Health Specialists support clinical teams, coordinate treatment planning, and contribute to research, documentation, program evaluation, and specialized training.

You'd be a GOOD fit if:

You hold a master's degree in a field that qualifies you to have the required licensure listed below. 

You hold current, active licensure allowing you to conduct counseling or psychotherapy (e.g. LPC, LPC-Associate under supervision, LMFT, LCSW, LMSW under supervision, Psychologist, APRN-PMHNP, Psychiatric CNS, etc.). 

You want to work in a structured treatment environment providing therapy, testing and clinical documentation. 

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You are licensed as a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider in Texas. 

You have sex offender treatment experience in a clinical correctional or community-based setting.  

You have strong experience conducting psychological assessments, clinical documentation, and developing treatment plans. 

You are comfortable participating in research, quality enhancement activities, and interdisciplinary clinical teamwork. 

You have exceptional documentation experience and skills.
