Job Duties:

This role involves performing highly complex work in the production and processing of officer uniform pants and other products within the Texas Correctional Industries department. You¿ll oversee and monitor the work of inmates to ensure operations run efficiently and production goals are met. The position operates under limited supervision, giving you considerable latitude to use your initiative and independent judgment in managing daily tasks and addressing production needs.

You¿re detail oriented, have a strong work ethic, and bring solid knowledge of production and workflow procedures. You also understand quality¿control standards and know how to maintain consistent, satisfactory levels of production

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have a bachelor¿s degree in a related field and bring correctional custody or law enforcement experience. You have knowledge of garment manufacturing and are skilled in using and repairing sewing machines and other equipment involved in clothing production
