Job Duties:

This position reports to the Byrd Modular Installation Office on a daily basis. Duties include Performs advanced work in the installation of furniture and various other products.
Oversees inmates in the performance of assigned tasks; plans schedules of operations; and ensures accountability for equipment, tools, and parts. Assists in evaluating installation operations and ensures conformance to quality standards; prepares and maintains reports regarding operations; makes related recommendations; and makes sales calls to current and potential customers. Arranges for transportation and housing of assigned inmates from units and local jails near project sites; ensures available funds for inmate meals; coordinates delivery or pick-up of products; and maintains evaluations and records of training activities and proficiencies. Maintains security of tools, machinery, and equipment; responds to emergency situations; performs various correctional and custodial support functions; and assists in maintaining security of assigned inmates.

You have criminal justice experience and have graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.

You are detailed-oriented .

You have a strong work ethic.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have criminal justice experience and graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.

 You have 18 months full-time, wage-earning modular furniture installation experience. 

You have three years full-time, wage-earning production or manufacturing experience.

You have experience in the supervision of inmates.

You have furniture or drapery installation experience.

You are detailed oriented and have a strong work ethic.
