Job Duties:

This position reports to the Metal Fab Facility depending on the vacancies on a daily basis.  Duties include: the overseeing work of inmates on assigned tasks, reviews raw material requirements, requisitions supplies, machinery and equipment.  Prepares reports of operations and related documentation to include quality and quantity of production, maintains security of tools, machinery, and equipment and all other marginal duties as assigned. 

You'd be a GOOD fit if:

You have Eighteen months full-time experience in metal fabrication or three years full-time experience in any production or manufacturing operation.

You have correctional or law enforcement experience.

Thirty semester hours from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States for-year basis for a maximum substitution of two years. Department of Education (USDE) may be substituted for each year of experience on a year

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have knowledge of methods and procedures along with problem solving techniques used in a metal fabrication facility.

You have experience with quality control standards in relation to production and understanding workflow procedures in a manufacturing environment.

You have great communication skills and are able to communicate your ideas, and instructions clearly to staff, administration, and workers within the facility.

You have knowledge of methods and procedures for metal fabrication and properties of metal.
