Job Duties:

Posting reports to the Wallace Pack Unit in Navasota. Job includes performing advanced supervisory maintenance work in farm work in farm shop operations. Work involves overseeing maintenance staff involved in the installation, care, and repair of state facilities and equipment; and supervising the work of others. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Must have or be able to obtain a current Environmental Protection Agency approved Type 609 Universal Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certification within 6 months of employment date.

  • You have the ability to multitask.
  • You are knowledgeable in farming equipment and vehicle maintenance.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

  • You have supervisory experience over staff and inmates.
  • A minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.
  • You have inventory management and purchasing experience.
